New site, and no showstoppers left
The new site
Most of what you're looking at is new. The type, the layout, and a component system underneath that stops every page inventing its own buttons. The specs page now pulls the device apart in 3D so you can see what's actually inside it, and the interface mockups on the features page are live recreations of the real thing rather than screenshots of it.
There's a lot of small work in there too. The section dividers now line up with the backgrounds they sit on. Nobody will ever notice, which is rather the point.
The firmware
This is the part worth reading. As of today there are no showstoppers left. What's still on the list are the bugs you'd have to go hunting for.
Bluetooth was the part I worried about most. Every set of headphones reads the spec a little differently and there's no substitute for just trying them. So far every device we've tested connects and plays without complaint. That list keeps growing, and I'll say so here if something eventually doesn't.
Why it's been quiet
I'm moving house. That has cost a few weeks and there's no interesting way to dress it up. The workbench is currently in three places at once.
What's next
Once the move is done, Kickstarter is the only thing left on the list. Getting that campaign live is the priority. I'd rather hand you a real date from the other side of the move than invent one now.
Join the waitlist and you'll hear when it goes up.
